Stone Lake is a town in Sawyer County, Wisconsin, located about 127 Miles northeast of Minneapolis, Minnesota and 90 miles north of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The population was 544 at the 2000 census. The town celebrates an annual cranberry festival which draws thousands to Stone Lake each fall on the first Saturday of October.

Stone Lake had one National Bank chartered during the Bank Note Era, and it issued National Bank Notes.

In December 1912, the Comptroller of the Currency approved the application of the First National Bank of Stone Lake to organize with a capital of $25,000. A charter was issued on February 4, 1913, with George E. Stubins, president, and H.C. Jackson, cashier.
